DPG was founded by Nathan Duffey. Nathan is a veteran with a diverse and distinguished career in both public service and skilled craftsmanship. Having served as a combat medic in the military, he gained invaluable experience providing life-saving medical care in some of the most demanding and dangerous environments. His ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure earned him the respect of his peers and leaders alike. After his military service, Nathan’s passion for public safety led him to take on a role of a firefighter, responding to fires and emergencies with the same commitment and skill he had developed throughout his career.

He then transitioned to becoming a critical care paramedic, where he continues to serve his community by responding to medical emergencies with a high level of expertise and care. Nathan then further expanded his service by becoming a police officer, where he applied his discipline, tactical skills, and understanding of crisis management to protect and serve his community. Serving as a law enforcement officer has allowed Nathan to connect more with the community and the citizens he serves.

After years of serving in these demanding fields, Nathan’s lifelong interest in firearms and mechanics led him to pursue a new path as a gunsmith. Combining his experience in emergency response, law enforcement, and military service with his passion for precision craftsmanship. Nathan now specializes in the repair, customization, and building of firearms. His unique background allows him to approach the art of gunsmithing with an attention to detail and a deep understanding of the practical needs of those who rely on firearms in critical situations.
